If you're a regular visitor to this site about freerolls you'll notice a significant change to the look and feel. No Limit Freerolls is under new management, and you'll be seeing more changes here soon. I'm redesigning the home page here to describe the goals of this website and to map out where the content is going. I hope you'll add this site to your bookmarks and check back often, because I have big plans.
If you're new to the concept, a freeroll is a poker tournament with no entry fee. Most of the time the poker site promoting the freeroll offers cash prizes to the top finishers, and sometimes there are gifts and additional incentives. Freerolls are a terrific way for broke players to get some free poker practice in, and they're also a great means for new rounders to learn the game.
This is a guide to online cardrooms aimed at freeroll players. That means the content here, the poker reviews, the strategy articles, and the news sections, will all be specifically focused on how to make the most of the free and low buy-in tournaments online. It's my goal that a regular reader here will learn enough to build a bankroll from absolute nothing. In a sense, what I'm trying to provide here is a roadmap to how to turn straw into gold, or to create something from nothing. (In this case a poker bankroll.)
If I succeed, it will be a nice bit of poker alchemy.
Thanks for taking the time to read about the plans for this site. I have high hopes and lofty goals. I hope that the site will be a great resource for poker players everywhere, no matter what their level of expertise, but I especially hope to be able to help new poker players with small bankrolls build their bankrolls through freerolls and low buy-in tournaments.
