We've had some luck the last couple of days and theres a few good looks in the MLB today,but we won't push our luck and just try for the single bet at double your money odds.
A few days ago the Rangers created Baseball history by beating the Orioles by a thousand,that was a good couple of days for me,I was following another game when I noticed what was happening in that match and backed Texas in Game 2 of the double header at $2.25,then I went against Texas in their next match against the Marriners the next day at healthy $2.05,and it worked,yep i remember that day well.
The White Sox won their last start against Tampa their first win in their last 5 matches.It's hard to beleive what has happened to the Champs only a couple of years ago,but they are a shadow of that great side now and are only getting worse not better,some of their fantastic starters from the past few seasons are not good and their hitters who once owned the League are now just not performing,the White Sox are getting the majority of their run chances and conversions from 3 young players who off the top of my head I can't remember their names(how embarassing.Anyway......
Texas start today with Gabbard 6 - 1, 3.65 era,against the White Sox this year his numbers read 1 - 0 with an era of 1.29 and lifetime his numbers read 2 -0 , 0.64 era,however those starts were with the Red Sox before he arrived here a month or so ago,since joining from Boston his Texas numbers read 2 - 1 with an era of 3.51.
His opponent on the mound today is Floyd 1 - 2, 7.36 era,and he is not going to well,he has never faced the Rangers but in his last two starts it's almost a horror story in 33 innings he has given up 12 Homers and 46 hits,not great reading for White Sox Fans.
Texas are actually playing quite well and have been over the last week or so,they lost the opening game against Seattle after their history making and then won the next two and anyone watching MLB will know that Seattle have been on a tear and even though Seattle rested Suzuki in game 2 and Johijima was sat out in Game 3,that effort from the Rangers should'nt be dismissed,the one thing to remember in US Sports like NBA,MBL,NHL there are so many games close to one another that form rolls over into their next games and can flow.
The Rangers have been ok in recent times and have never been beaten out of a match as such and I think they will get the better of the Sox today and it could be rather large also.The White Sox are not playing well and have'nt been almost all season ,they did go through a good spell about 3 weeks ago but since then disaster after disaster and this looks like another one here.
The White Sox would need a huge form reversal to win here and Floyd would have to pitch the game of his life to get them home,however I have to side with Texas here,they have surprised me with their form since the trade of Teixira as I thought his trade would kill them,but they are still playing well if not better at the moment than when the trade occured,i'm babling now,I don't give the Sox much hope here today,Texas have a good starter on the mound and really should win here and win well,Good Luck.
