On the continuing dispute between Sky Channel and the Sydney racing industry, Mr Slatter said the new board was "confident of reaching a sensible commercial outcome".
"We've had some good discussions . . . Tabcorp is very keen to get the pictures from the two (Sydney) clubs back on Sky; we think it's in everyone's interest."
Tabcorp shares finished 12¢ lower at $14.16 yesterday, while TAB shares finished 1¢ down at $4.93. TAB's close is the same price as the implied value of the Tabcorp deal.
