Prior to joining ESPN, Paolantonio was a political reporter (1985-93) and beat reporter for the Philadelphia Eagles (1993-95) for the Philadelphia Inquirer. In 1994, he won the Associated Press Sports Editors Award for Reporting.RON JAWORSKIRon Jaworski was the 2nd round pick of Los Angeles Rams in 1973. "Jaws" was traded to Philly in '77 where he led the Eagles to two NFC Playoffs ('78, '79) and the NFC Championship and first-ever Super Bowl berth in 1980. During his 10 years with the Eagles, Ron passed for nearly 27,000 yards, including 175 touchdowns, and started 116 straight NFL games. MERRIL HOGEAn eight-year NFL veteran, Hoge spent 1987-93 with the Pittsburgh Steelers and was the team’s starting fullback for five of those seasons. He set the team record for most receptions by a running back, totaling 50 in ‘88. He concluded his career in 1995 with the Chicago Bears. Hoge joined ESPN in 1996, working as game analyst and sideline reporter for ESPN2’s college football coverage.
