NFL bet

NFL bet

NFL bet
Grab your helmets and jerseys as you have reached the greatest NFL odds on the Internet. is proud to bring you live point spreads for all of the Pre season NFL football games for this week. It is vital to get off to a good start each NFL pre Season. At Day 1 of the preseason is when we begin to start accumulating profit for our members.
If you are betting on your own remember when it comes time for NFL preseason handicapping, unlike the regular season where the main purpose for the team is to win the game, this may not always be the case, and it is often not a necessity for a team to try and win the game. During the NFL preseason the coaches most important goals are getting players in game time situations, finding out strengths and weaknesses, deciding on starters for open positions, and ultimately doing whatever it takes to get the team ready to be productive and win in the regular season. These are all things to account for when assessing preseason football predictions.
The Preseason NFL football odds presented here are and always be free of charge. Our live NFL lines runs from day 1 of preseason football all the way through the super bowl. Just remember to bookmark us for future reference.
We have sorted the different point spreads in a few tables/categories. The first is the standard NFL game spread and total that most of you are accustomed to. The second layout is the NFL money lines (moneylines football page).
Next we bust out the current 1st half lines and after that the second half lines (which are posted once the games go to halftime).
A sports book creates a football betting line that either adds to the points for the underdog team or subtracts from the points of the favored team. An NFL game played without a betting line is called a 'pick'.
When a betting line is listed with a 'pk' next to the teams playing, it is an indication that no team is favored in that game. It also means that there is no point spread. With such NFL football betting, the actual final score determines the winners and losers of game and the bet.
A sports book charges a 10% Juice as a service fee for accepting and processing NFL wagers online.
The standard fee for betting NFL games online is 10% of the value of your wager. Usually this fee is taken from the losing bets.
When a football betting line is expressed in money terms, it is called the Money line. It lists how much money your online bet will return, and is used to balance the action when the point spread is not used. Let show you an example to make the concept clear. In an NFL football match between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, the betting line may be +140 for Dolphins if the New York Jets were a much better team. Consequently, the line for Jets would be - 140.
Whenever a sports book receives more bets on one side of a football team, the betting line is so adjusted so as to create interest in the other team. It is in the interest of the person placing the bet to wait until the highest value is reached on the betting line so as to place a bet on the underdog team.
A computerized NFL betting line service allows all the live betting lines of a sports book to be displayed at the same time enabling a sports bettor to make a more informed choice when placing an NFL football bet online. Monitoring the games also becomes easier with this type of betting lines. Handicapping information is crucial to deciding the NFL betting line.
NFL football betting is now able to be done via the internet, and gamblers do not have to deal with bookies, nor go to Las Vegas. They can log onto the internet and make bets from their computers at home.
NFL football betting is a tough business to specialize in, mainly because the outcomes of the games are very difficult to predict. There are so many different things that can occur in football sports betting that there is never a sure thing. So, before you place your online football bets, be sure to make a educated decision and try looking for some research on football handicapping sites. Many Football handicapping sites will even give you some free NFL football betting picks.
The professional sports bettor has much more in his arsenal than just picking winners against the pointspread. As a matter of fact, I think it's fair to say that there are no pros who make their living strictly from straight bets. There are tons of opportunities for the sharp players, so today, we'll take a look at just one of those.
What will look at in this article, is taking a free shot.
What you'll need to accomplish this is -
1) An account at Sports
2) An account at another book offering a special such as a day where you can wager juice free or, for example, -102, which Carib has on Tuesdays.
The account is the key, and will not only enable you to do this, but will also enable you to explore various other money making opportunities in all sports.
is key, because they offer reduced juice, AND because they move the moneyline before they move the pointspread. For example, let's say a college football game has Miami Fla -6 over Fla St pretty much across the board at most books. s line on this game would be -6 (-105) and +6 (-105), whereas most books would be -6 (-110).
If money starts coming in on Miami, will move the moneyline BEFORE they move the pointspread. So, instead of moving to -6.5, will move to -6 (-107) +6 (-103) .
So here's an example of taking a free shot.
On Tuesday, Carib Sports offers -102 on the NFL.
has dynamic live lines on their website. So simply bring up s lines, and you can watch them change live.
Compare Caribs lines at -102 with s lines.
Ultimately, what you're looking for here is a situation where you can lay, say, -6 (+102) on the favorite at , while taking +6.5 (-102) at Carib. This, is a free shot, as you can't lose a penny. Unlike traditional middling, where you're laying the juice for each middle attempt, this is FREE. A gift. You can bet as much as you can afford on each side of this game and break even. If the game lands on 6, you catch a side and win one of those bets free and clear.
You can do this on any number. It doesn't matter if it's a number that's not likely to fall, because this isn't costing you a dime. On numbers that are more likely to fall, such as 6, 7, 10, and of course the biggie, 3, you can lay a little juice on these attempts and still have it be worthwhile. (You can lay a lot of juice on 3's, but likely won't find many of those opportunities)
You would be amazed at how many opportunities there are like this, every single week during the football season. Sides, totals, college and NFL. You owe it to yourself to attempt a few of these this year. It can really make the difference between a good and a bad year. The pros do it, why shouldn't you? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to do this.
You simply need a Sports account, and another account or two that offers some sort of reduced or free juice. Plus a little patience and due diligence on your part in finding these nuggets!
You want to learn how to win betting football this year? Tired of always coming out at the wrong end of the figure column? Tired of combing the net for free nfl picks Well, sit back, read this article, and by the time you are finished, I guarantee you that you will be a tough player for the sportsbooks to beat.
Don't expect miracles. It can take many years to become a seasoned pro. However, by following some simple guidelines, you can drastically improve your play and be well on your way to becoming a "sharp" and certainly will do better than randomly playing the free picks you'll find on the net.

There are three keys to being successful betting sports.
1) handicapping/picking winners
2) money management
3) line value
With all three, you need DISCIPLINE
All three are equally important. I've seen plenty of very good handicappers go broke because they weren't able to manage their money and weren't able to understand line value. Of the three, handicapping is probably the LEAST important. Those that are able to spot value and know how to manage their bankroll, can win without the slightest clue how to handicap a game.
But let's start with handicapping. Of course there's allot more to handicapping than I am going to be able to talk about here. But what I will do, is give you some key pointers to point you in the right direction and instantly improve your chances of winning.
We'll start with power ratings. You need a number to beat a number. Nebraska is playing Florida ST and Fla St is -6. Is that the correct number? Or is that a number put up in an attempt to get even action on the game? Sometimes, it's both. But the games you're looking to bet are the games where the number/pointspread is NOT the actual difference between the two teams, and there are plenty of opportunities to find these games. That's where our power ratings come in.
I keep my own power ratings. Allot goes into them and I couldn't possibly teach you here in the space I have. But you don't need to keep your own power ratings. There are some ratings available for free, or for a few bucks, and all do a decent job. The Gold Sheet is one such publication. They have been keeping power ratings for decades and do just about as good of a job as anyone. Teamrankings is another source of power ratings. Just do a google search for football powerratings and you'll find plenty, and some of those are kept by some very sharp mathematical minds.

online poker

Poker is a popular card game in which players, each holding one or more cards whose face value is concealed, place wagers into a central pot. The pot is awarded to the player or players with the best combination of cards or to the player who makes an uncalled bet. Poker can also refer to video poker, a single-player game seen in casinos much like a slot machine, or to other games that use poker hand rankings.
Game playPoker has many variations, all following a similar pattern of play.
The right to deal each hand typically rotates among the players and is marked by a token called a 'dealer' button or buck. In a casino, a house dealer handles the cards for each hand, but a button (typically a white plastic disk) is rotated clockwise among the players to indicate a nominal dealer to determine the order of betting.
One or more players are required to make forced bets to create an initial stake for which the players will contest. The dealer shuffles the cards, he cuts, and the appropriate number of cards are dealt to the players one at a time. Cards may be dealt either face-up or face-down, depending on the variant of poker being played. After the initial deal, the first of what may be several betting rounds begins. Between rounds, the players' hands develop in some way, often by being dealt additional cards or replacing cards previously dealt. At the end of each round, all bets are gathered into the central pot.
At any time during a betting round, if a player makes a bet, opponents are required to fold, call or raise. If one player bets and no opponents choose to call (match) the bet, the hand ends immediately, the bettor is awarded the pot, no cards are required to be shown, and the next hand begins. This possibility of winning a pot without showing a hand makes bluffing possible. Bluffing is a primary feature of poker, one that distinguishes it from other vying games and from other games that make use of poker hand rankings.
At the end of the last betting round, if more than one player remains, there is a showdown, in which the players reveal their previously hidden cards and evaluate their hands. The player with the best hand according to the poker variant being played wins the pot.
The most popular poker variants are as follows:
Draw poker Players each receive five — as in five-card draw — or more cards, all of which are hidden. They can then replace one or more of these cards a certain number of times. Stud poker Players receive cards one at a time, some being displayed to other players at the table. The key difference between stud and 'draw' poker is that players are not allowed to discard or replace any cards. Community card poker Players combine individually dealt cards with a number of "community cards" dealt face up and shared by all players. Each player will attempt to make the best five card poker hand using the community cards and their own face down cards. Two or four individual cards may be dealt in the most popular variations, Texas hold 'em and Omaha hold 'em, respectively. See betting (poker) for detailed rules regarding forced bets, betting actions, limits, stakes, and all-in situations. See List of poker variants and poker hand rankings for order of play and other details for the most common poker variants.
HistoryThe history of poker is a matter of debate. It closely resembles the Persian game of as nas, and may have been taught to French settlers in New Orleans by Persian sailors. The name of the game likely descended from the French poque, which descended from the German pochen ('to knock'). Yet it is not clear whether the origins of poker itself lie with the games bearing those names. It is commonly regarded as sharing ancestry with the Renaissance game of primero and the French brelan. The English game brag (earlier bragg) clearly descended from brelan and incorporated bluffing (though the concept was known in other games by that time). It is quite possible that all of these earlier games influenced the development of poker as it exists now.
English actor Joseph Crowell reported that the game was played in New Orleans in 1829, with a deck of 20 cards and four players betting on which player's hand was the most valuable. Jonathan H. Green's book, An Exposure of the Arts and Miseries of Gambling (G. B. Zieber, Philadelphia, 1843), described the spread of the game from there to the rest of the country by Mississippi riverboats, on which gambling was a common pastime. As it spread up the Mississippi and West during the gold rush, it is thought to have become a part of the frontier pioneer ethos.
Harry Truman's poker chipsSoon after this spread, the full 52-card English deck was used, and the flush was introduced. During the American Civil War, many additions were made, including draw poker, stud poker (the five-card variant), and the straight. Further American developments followed, such as the wild card (around 1875), lowball and split-pot poker (around 1900), and community card poker games (around 1925). The spread of the game to other countries, particularly in Asia, is often attributed to the U.S. military.
The game and jargon of poker have become important parts of American culture and English culture. Such phrases and clichés as ace in the hole, ace up one's sleeve, beats me, blue chip, call one's bluff, cash in, high roller, pass the buck, poker face, stack up, up the ante, when the chips are down, wild card, and others are used in everyday conversation, even by those unaware of their origins at the poker table.
Poker Room at the Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City, New JerseyModern tournament play became popular in American casinos after the World Series of Poker began, in 1970. Notable champions from these early WSOP tournaments include Johnny Moss, Amarillo Slim, Bobby Baldwin, and Doyle Brunson. It was also during that decade that the first serious strategy books appeared, notably Super/System by Doyle Brunson (ISBN 1-58042-081-8) and The Book of Tells by Mike Caro (ISBN 0-89746-100-2), followed later by The Theory of Poker by David Sklansky (ISBN 1-880685-00-0).
Poker’s popularity experienced an unprecedented spike at the beginning of the 21st century, largely because of the introduction of online poker and the invention of the hole-card camera, which turned the game into a spectator sport. Viewers could now follow the action and drama of the game, and broadcasts of poker tournaments such as the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour brought in huge audiences for cable and satellite TV distributors. Because of the increasing coverage of poker events, poker pros are becoming more and more like celebrities, with poker fans all over the world entering into expensive tournaments for the chance to play with them. This increased camera exposure also brings a new dimension to the poker professional's game—the realization that their actions may be aired later on TV.
Major poker tournament fields have grown dramatically because of the growing popularity of online satellite-qualifier tournaments where the prize is an entry into a major tournament. The 2003 and 2004 WSOP champions, Chris Moneymaker and Greg Raymer, respectively, won their seats to the main event by winning online satellites.
