Pittsburgh has won its last 11 road games since suffering a 30-13 loss at Baltimore last season, the second-longest streak in NFL history. The Steelers have been able to buy time to get starting QB Ben Roethlisberger back from knee surgery by playing Charlie Batch against Cleveland and Green Bay, two teams with a combined record of 5-13. The Ravens fit into that category as well at 2-7 but played Pittsburgh very tough in a 20-19 road loss on October 31st. Tommy Maddox gets the call at QB since Batch broke his hand in a 34-21 home win over Cleveland last Sunday night.Maddox also started a 23-17 overtime loss to Jacksonville back on October 17th, throwing three interceptions, including one that was returned for the game-winning touchdown in OT. Seahawks at 49ersSan Francisco has not scored a touchdown in its last three home games, dating back 13 quarters to a 34-31 loss to Dallas on September 25th. The 49ers have also been held without a TD in their last three games overall and have scored just eight all season. That's less than half the total of Seattle RB Shaun Alexander, who has 17 TDs with at least one score in seven of the team's nine games. Alexander also became the first player in NFL history with 15 TDs in five straight seasons by scoring three times in a 31-16 home win over St. Louis last week. Colts at BengalsTwo years ago, Kansas City visited Cincinnati at 9-0, and the Bengals prevented the Chiefs from leaving 10-0. That will be the not-so simple task yet again as they welcome the unbeaten Colts to town in this extra large AFC showdown. Indianapolis has had the weakest schedule of any team in the NFL so far this season but passed a road test at New England a couple weeks ago with a 40-21 victory. However, that game was sandwiched between two games against Houston, which owns the worst record in the league at 1-8. The last six games for the Colts have been decided by 14 points or more, but the Patriots were the only opponent they played with a winning record over that stretch. Bills at ChargersBuffalo QB J.P. Losman took advantage of a concussion to starter Kelly Holcomb to have his most courageous performance of the season, lifting the Bills to a 14-3 win over Kansas City last week. Losman threw two touchdown passes to Lee Evans and gave the team a much-needed boost when it needed it the most. Whether or not he can continue to fire up the offense remains to be seen, but Losman will have about 450 friends and family members in attendance from Venice Beach. Buffalo's defense also will be the key against San Diego QB Drew Brees, who has already thrown eight interceptions, one more than he did all of last season. The Bills rank second in the NFL in pass defense, giving up 157.9 yards per game. The Chargers are coming off their NFL bye week. Chiefs at TexansKansas City is finding life after Priest Holmes to be somewhat difficult, as the offense isn't able to do everything it's used to with Larry Johnson taking over the starting RB duties. Johnson is more of a power back and was critical of the team's offensive gameplan with Holmes out, saying that the Chiefs were trying to be too fancy. Kansas City won't need to worry about that against Houston despite failing to score a touchdown in a game for the first time since the 2002 regular-season finale in a 14-3 loss at Buffalo last week. The Texans are ranked 30th in points allowed (27.4 per game) and 29th in yards allowed (370.8 per game). Monday, November 21st Vikings at PackersMinnesota stunned the Giants 24-21 at home last week despite failing to score an offensive touchdown, as the Vikings became the first team in NFL history to return a kickoff, punt and interception for touchdowns in a game. They totaled 394 return yards, which more than made up for their 137 net yards of offense. Minnesota has generated just 663 yards of total offense in 11 quarters since QB Brad Johnson took over for the injured Daunte Culpepper yet the team is going for its third victory in a row. The Packers shocked Atlanta on the road 33-25 behind three TDs from rookie RB Samkon Gado, who has helped balance out the offense and take some pressure off QB Brett Favre. Green Bay is 12-3 ATS in its last 15 Monday Night Football games, but Minnesota has won the last two meetings both SU and ATS, with the total going under in two straight after eight straight overs.
