Casino War Casino War can definitely be accredited to the childhood game that most remember of War. It was and is a simple game that is basically played by two opponents who draw cards and the one with the highest value card is the winner. The value of the cards is the same as in Poker, Ace being the highest, then the face cards and the numbers follow. War as we then knew it was the first introduction that most children had to cards and it also helped with numbers. It was not a gambling game then. Over the years different versions of war developed and it became a popular game with the adults also. There is a Russian version called P'yantisa, or Drunkard, which is played with 36 cards from a pack. The original version of War was played with one pack of 52 cards and the version of Casino War that is known today is played with six packs of full decks i.e. 6 lots of 52 cards. Different variations of the game of war could be played with two, three or four players. The original game of War it was played with two players and the cards were divided up equally between the two players. The players would then turn over simultaneously their top cards and the player with the highest value card was the winner of that round. There were two versions of the game, either to get rid of all of your cards or to get your opponent to lose all of his cards. Depending on which version was played would obviously depend on the tactics of the players. If the value of the cards were the same then they would each deal a blind card which was not shown and then turn over the next card which was shown. The player with the highest card would either take all of the cards or give them to his opponent, depending on which version of the game was being played. The basics of the original game of War have been adapted over the years to give us the game of Casino War that we know today. Casino War is considered to be one of the easiest and most rewarding of the casino games that there are today. Over the years Casino War developed at land based casinos as a side attraction. It was meant for the partners of the high rolling players, to keep them busy as their better halves played the big buck games. It was never thought of as a thinking mans game as the chances of winning are 50/50 whether you play with one deck of cards or six decks of cards. It is now the norm to play with six decks of cards. A special green felt table was designed and produced for Casino War games to be played. The game was given status but still did not take off that much as it was not considered a serious game. The highest odds that were ever given were 10:1 so unless enormous bets were placed it was never going to be the high rolling game. Some considered it a game for the beginners to become comfortable with casino surroundings; others just considered it a game for lesser players like the partners of high rollers as mentioned before.

live A casino is a facility that accommodates certain types of gambling activities. Casinos are often placed near or combined with hotels, restaurants, retail shopping, cruise ships and other vacation attractions. Some casinos are known for hosting live entertainment events, such as concerts and sporting events, especially boxing. The term originally meant a small villa, summerhouse or pavilion built for pleasure, usually on the grounds of a larger Italian villa or palazzo. There are examples of such casinos at Villa Giulia and Villa Farnese. During the 19th century, the term casino came to include other more public buildings where pleasurable activities, including gambling and sports, took place. An example of this type of building is the Newport Casino. In modern Italian, this term designates a bordello (also called "casa chiusa", literally "closed house"), while the gambling house is spelled casinĂ² with an accent. Gambling in casinos In most jurisdictions, gambling is limited to persons over the age of majority (21 years of age in most of the United States and 18 to 20 in most other countries where casinos are permitted). Customers may gamble by playing slot machines or other games of chance (e.g., craps, roulette, baccarat) and some skill (eg., blackjack, poker) [for more see casino games]. Game rules usually have mathematically-determined odds that ensure the house retains an advantage over the players. This advantage is called the edge. Payout is the percentage given to players. In games such as poker, the house takes a commission (a "rake") on bets players make against each other. Our money refers to the situation where a winning player is placing bets with money that has been won from the casino. Security Traditionally, casinos have had a major concentration on security. Large amounts of currency move through a casino, tempting people to cheat the system. Security today consists of cameras located throughout the property operated by highly trained individuals who attempt to locate cheating and stealing by both players and employees. Among the most secure and watched areas of a casino are the count rooms and the surveillance room. http://www.enterbet.com
